Why do I see two cursors on my uploaded recording?

Tutorial AI hides its AI-smoothed cursor on uploaded videos by default — if you see two, turn Hide cursor back on in the Cursor menu.

When you record directly with the Chrome Extension or Desktop Recorder, Tutorial AI captures the screen without the system cursor and redraws its own AI-smoothed cursor on top — so you never see two.

Uploaded recordings are different. Your file already contains the original cursor in the video pixels, and Tutorial AI can’t remove it. To avoid a double-cursor, Tutorial AI switches the Hide cursor toggle in the Cursor menu on automatically the moment you import a video — the AI-smoothed cursor is still generated, but hidden.

If you’re seeing two cursors, that toggle has been turned off at some point. Open the Cursor menu at the bottom of the Editor and turn Hide cursor back on — the AI-smoothed cursor disappears from the preview immediately, so you don’t need to generate the video to verify the fix.

⚠️ The original cursor can’t be removed from an uploaded recording. It’s baked into the video pixels you provided. Once Hide cursor is on, only your original cursor appears in the final output. To use Tutorial AI’s AI-smoothed cursor instead, record directly with the Chrome Extension or Desktop Recorder rather than uploading a file.
